Overview[]
Want a practical family SUV? Introducing the 2012 Chevlon Camion, with available features like a power remote liftgate, power release fold and tumble second row seats, and rear view camera system. This capable SUV can carry the whole family in relative comfort and can also carry huge items when the seats are not being used. And if you prioritize fuel economy, the Hybrid version offers 20mpg in the city and 23mpg on the highway. That's 21mpg combined, which is the same fuel economy as a 4 cylinder Vellfire Puremia. Quirks and Features[]
- The 2012 Brawnson Arlington and 2012 Leland Vault are both based on the 2012 Camion.
- All trims get DRLs(daytime running lights), side mouldings and a trailer hitch. However, all but the Hybrid get roof rails as standard and a 320hp 5.3L Vortec V8 with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
- LS gets plastic mirrors, plastic door handles and an exposed trailer hitch at the rear.
- LT has fog lights, body coloured mirrors and body coloured door handles.
- LTZ has a chrome mesh grille, chrome mirrors, chrome door handles, chrome trim on the side mouldings, chrome trim and black trim on the rear bumper, a cover for the trailer hitch, rear parking sensors (which don't work) and a sunroof.
- The fuel efficient Hybrid has a different grille, a slightly different front bumper with bigger vents and no foglights, black trim on the rear bumper, different taillights and unique Hybrid badges on the front fenders, the C-pillars and the tailgate. All this contributes to a drag coefficient of 0.34cd.
- It's powered by a 332hp 6.0L Vortec V8 with a nickel–metal hydride battery, a pair of electric motors for a combined 379hp, and a 4-speed CVT auto. However the powertrain is unrealistic because the vehicle doesn't start in electric mode, you can't drive in electric mode, there's no electric motor whine and it has the same startup sound as the other trims. The only time it acts like a hybrid is when you accelerate towards the speed limit and let go of the accelerator, the engine shuts down and goes to idle.
- You can gently accelerate for a short period of time without waking up the engine, but if you fully accelerate, reach a certain speed, or press the brakes, the engine wakes up
- Despite its truck version (2013 Chevlon Platoro) getting remodeled in the fall of 2022, it still has a rather outdated model, dating back to spring of 2021.
